Use this product to provide supports for planning and organizing, transcription, and editing and revising. This program provides a library of outlining templates with both procedural and content prompts which can be reviewed with speech output. Drafts can be auto-created from the outline. Transcription legibility, accuracy and word fluency are supported with dynamic word prediction and an expandable library of topical word lists with the option of viewing suggestions by part of speech. Editing is supported with a spell check tool and a homonym checking tool.
BBC Science Simulations 1 provides an opportunity for children to explore seven "virtual" science investigations. The simulations include making plants grow, exercise, building electrical circuits and more. This program is perfect for whole class instruction using a whiteboard and provides an excellent opportunity for students to predict, carry out, and evaluate investigations with the additional benefit of being able to simply reset them and start again. The "questions" portion of the program provides ideas for simulations.
BBC Science Simulations 2 provides opportunities for early elementary students to interact with seven virtual science investigations.
