Caption Mic

Caption Mic is a "do-it-yourself" captioning system that produces captions with the help of speech recognition technology. A voice captioner echoes what is spoken at an event, and the resulting captions are displayed on a TV monitor or other display device. Use this tool with students who have hearing impairments and need classroom lectures captioned.

Interpretype® is a face-to-face communication system which meets Section 508 and ADA Compliance requirements by providing alternative solutions for individuals who are Deaf, speech impaired, or anyone in need of a non-verbal face-to-face conversation. The SMD is designed for grade 4-8 students who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing and use American Sign Language (ASL) or Signed English (SE) in the classroom.
