A series of activities to engage students while building math skills.

## Product

This program uses multiple representation (symbols and numeric notation) to demonstrate algebraic concepts of inequality and variables. Use with whole class demonstrations and as individual math reinforcement.

Use Destination Math as a comprehensive K-12 mathematics program that transforms math instruction through an interactive learning environment. Featuring sequenced, prescriptive, step-by-step instruction, Destination Math helps students develop fluency in critical skills, math reasoning, conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

The Geometer's Sketchpad® Dynamic Math software allows students to visualize and explore mathematical relationships. Students can create and investigate their own constructions and models, and teachers can create online activities for students.

Hey Math is a web-based, supplemental K-12 math program. The program includes demonstrations of concepts, practice exercises and games in a variety of topics at each grade level. Teachers can use the program for whole class demonstrations of concepts or assign exercises and reinforcement activities to individual students. Teachers can monitor student progress for each grade-level topic.

Math Player is a free download that enables Internet Explorer and other screen readers to read mathematical equations and notations.

This program introduces and builds fundamental early math skills in numbers, shapes, sizes, quantities, patterns, sequencing, addition, and subtraction.

Classworks is a web-based instructional software that provides interactive lessons, customized learning and assessment in K-12 Math, Reading, and Language Arts. Elementary Science lessons are also available. Classworks units are based on state standards and offer interactive instruction through a multi-sensory approach that includes voice, pop-up text, audio support, video, photographs, artist drawings, and animated clips. The multiple modalities may be helpful for those with limited English proficiency or learning disabilities, or as a Response to Intervention.

GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for schools that joins geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus. Users can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. Additionally, math equations and coordinates can be entered directly. GeoGebra allows students to see the relationships between these different branches of mathematics.GeoGebra is available both online and offline versions.

An environment in which students can select from several different math-related activities, earning points and charting their progres.. Different software packages are available, covering grades 1 through 12. A home version is also available through Knowledge Adventure (www.knowledgeadventure.com/).
