Transcription and spelling accuracy are supported through voice recognition permitting students to dictate verbally to the computer and have their dictation translated into digital text. Basic voice commands are available for computer control. This software also allows students to dictate into a portable digital recorder and then have the dictation transcribed to text.

Use Audible to find and download spoken audio books, information, educational programming, and other spoken media (radio, TV programs, magazines and newspapers). Audible audio files are compatible with many audio players, mobile phones and streaming media devices, files can also be downloaded using Windows PC or Macintosh computers, and burned to a CD. Using the Audible App allows the user to download, play and store multiple titles on their mobile device. Various subscription levels and pricing are available.
The BIGtrack has a 3 inch trackball which may require less fine motor control than a standard trackball. It has a left and a right mouse click button located behind the trackball to avoid unwanted mouse clicks. The BIGtrack also allows for 2nd Mouse Connection both the BIGtrack and a second mouse can be connected allowing simultaneous participation. The BIGtrack is is also available in a switch adapted version.

Sonocent Audio Notetaker allows users to capture full recordings of classes or meetings, visualizing audio as chunks, phrase by phrase, making it easier to return to a specific part of a recording later. The software and companion app enables the user to bring together all information on a topic, highlight specific sections of audio, add photos, slides, and additional notes to the original recording.
