Reading instruction for students with LD and EBD: A synthesis of observation studies

The article synthesizes previous observation studies conducted between 1975 and 2000 on reading with students with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioral disorders to review the quality of reading instruction given and to identify guidelines for future instruction.
