Cosmo's Learning Systems

Cosmo's Play and Learn™ software is a family of educational and computer games that aim to entertain children of developmental ages 2-to-8 years and teach math skills. This developmentally appropriate software was created by a team of educators; physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists; and assistive technology practitioners. Children empower a virtual robot to explore new adventures in a playground filled with activities, by utilizing the specially developed analog functionality of Mission Control™ Mission Control™ is a versatile computer access device designed for children who do not use a standard keyboard and standard mouse. Mission Control is designed to empower a child of developmental age 2-to-8 to control the actions of CosmoBot™, a virtual robot, during its explorations in Cosmo's Play and Learn™ software. The child uses Mission Control to control computer games by applying different amounts of pressure to the four large aFFx™ Activators and receives feedback while playing the software game.
